You know, I am continually getting lost while exploring my desert surroundings. I made a wrong turn back about 500 hoofs ago, and now . . . well these gigantic trees certainly do not belong in any desert! In fact, from my school lessons I think these are Sequoia trees – maybe they have tapped into some kind of underground steroid pool because they are even larger than the books described. Their leafy canopy makes It so cool and refreshing here . . . away from the unrelenting furnace blast of the sun. Am I dreaming? I think I hear a babbling brook in the distance. Or is that just me babbling on? Well, it is a good dream so far.
