Why, hello there! I bet you thought I had disappeared into the desert. No . . . I have just taken a short vacation – although I am not sure if this is for real or a dream. No matter, to me it is still a vacation so here I am at the shore, But for some reason it is just as hot here as back home in the desert. You know, many centuries ago when those irresponsible humans roamed the planet, many doubted the onset of global warming. Those who admitted the trend pointed to the good effects – for instance, now you COULD fry an egg on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, eggs started hatching without the need for incubation. Soon there were chickens and roosters everywhere. Cliques were formed based on their pecking order. All could agree on one point, “Let us peck these humans incessantly until they leave this land we have now claimed for ourselves.” Finally, the old saying, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg,” had to be discarded. It was just too difficult to tell anymore. Am I rambling, again? It is the heat, you see? The heat!
